What are pellets?
Wood pellets (pellets) are solid biofuels in the form of wood pellets (Black pellets Bionet ™), standardized shapes and sizes, produced by Bionet "by industrial recycling of woody biomass using mechanical press and without the addition of any chemical, binding additives and glue, the usual cylindrical shape with technologically specified parameters.
Wood pellets, pellets meet European quality standards and have a number of unique characteristics:
High calorific value and bulk density.
Calorific value is (NCV ≥ 21 MJ) and bulk density (BD ≥ 700). The energy content in one cubic meter of pellets is 1.5 times higher than that of conventional wood (NCV ≥ 17 MJ, BD ≥ 600) pellets.
In terms of calorific value, wood pellets are comparable to charcoal, while the content of mineral and organic substances, heavy metals, as well as other pollutants, almost fully comply with national and European standards for wood pellets for industrial use, in accordance with the technical characteristics of the fuel, defined in standard EN 14961-1: 2010.
Not hygroscopic and not susceptible to oxidation
During the long period of storage by the open method, they do not lose their physicochemical properties, do not collapse and do not collect moisture.
Not explosive and not flammable.
The pellet ignition temperature is above 450◦С.
Conform to the European standards pellet of industrial application.
Wood pellets do not require special conditions for storage and transportation, are convenient for logistics goods and allow you to automate the processes of loading and unloading, transportation thanks to the standard form and high bulk density.
Wood pellets are transported in bulk (by road, rail, sea modes of transport, or use transport packaging - big bags).
They can be used for burning in existing coal-fired boilers, either jointly with coal or separately, without changing the existing infrastructure and technology of storing and burning coal. Combustion products do not cause allergic reactions.
Using "Black pellets Bionet ™" - will allow coal power plants to switch to renewable sources of biomass with minimal capital investment in the existing infrastructure.
Wood pellets do not tolerate weed seeds and insect pests.
The technological scheme of production of pellets.
Collecting raw materials (hydrolysis lingine) on the dump, transporting it by road (dump) to the production
Reception of raw materials, removal of fractions larger than 10 mm, detection and trapping of metal; Drying raw materials in drum dryers by steam supply, which comes with its own boiler; Dried lingin is discharged from the dryer by a system of conveyors and enters the buffer silo and further to fine cleaning.
Granulation is performed in pellet presses with a cylindrical matrix. At the exit - pellets, ready for packaging and shipment. After cooling, the pellets are fed to a sieve to separate small particles. Particles that are not formed into granules are returned to the granulation.
After sifting, ready-made pellets, bucket elevator and scraper conveyors are fed to the packaging in big bags. Storage of finished pellets is provided in 2 silos with a capacity of 5250 m3 each.
Shipment of finished products is carried out by railway transport in big bags or in bulk.
